
Rob Lewis is a British composer who trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Sussex University.
His numerous film and television credits include Macbeth(starring Shaq B. Grant), Hulu’s Dead Asleep (directed by Skye Borgman), augmented reality film The Last Light (by Magic Leap), Reappear (starring Ellise Chappell) and Rite Of Passage(directed by Iggy London).
He is known for his creative use of strings in his scores, on which he plays cello, piano and synthesizers. Rob aims to find a unique voice for each project, to create inspiring, energetic and emotive scores. Collaborations include Baz Luhrmann, BAFTA winner David Holmes, Noel Gallagher and rapper Dave, to name a few.
His use of a loop pedal with strings laid the foundation for his critically acclaimed albums; ‘Momentum’, premiered by Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 6 and ’98’, a commission by Google.
